There are several ongoing conservation efforts within the Dundee Oaks COA. In 2013, the Confederated Tribes of Warm Springs acquired this 277-acre “Red Hills Conservation Area”, through the Willamette Wildlife Mitigation Program.

Area is also known as the Red Hills Conservation Area. Includes the Red Hills of Dundee, which separate the Chehalem Valley from the Yamhill River basin and headwater tributaries of the Yamhill River.
